TeamCity 3.0
There’s a new release of TeamCity 3.0. Just in case you’re wondering what it is, TeamCity 3.0 s basically a “teamwork product for continuous integration and build management on both Java and .NET platforms.” developed by JetBrains.
TeamCity 3.0 also has a free version, which is the TeamCity 3.0 Professional Edition. It provides free license to small and medium-size development teams and allows a maximum of 20 user accounts. The commercial version, which is the TeamCity Enterprise Edition, on the other hand, has unlimited accounts and builds.
Here are the new features in TeamCity 3.0:
Declarative plugabble statistic charts for user-defined metrics
Tags are available for quicker and more efficient organizing and filtering builds
Start and finish estimations are displayed in the build queue
Pre-tested commit from Visual Studio for Subversion
Version Control labeling for Subversion, CVS, Perforce, StarTeam, ClearCase
StarTeam support
.NET Duplicates detect similar code fragments of C# and Visual Basic .NET code
Maven2 projects can avail of Java Inspections and Duplicates
