Consider your site as a business and get a partner. Going on a joint venture can provide double resources for both of your sites. You promote his site by linking to his or he can promote yours via the same thing. Both of you can come up with other ways on how to do this. This ensures that if a user out there visits either of your site, then it is a certainty that the other also gets one. Yes, even the Web is a cut throat business so it is wise to remember to maintain good relations.

Sure all you have is a personal website, but let�s face it. The reason why you made one, is to make it public � so that other people can know about you (or a make believe you). If this is the case, then why not widen your readership? A little marketing can sure help.

One of the simplest things you can do is to write articles. If you�re a prolific blogger with a lot things to say about any topic under the sun, then this should be easy for you. Submit your articles to article archives and directories and link them to your site. By doing this you can make your site widely known (not to mention huge traffic on your site).
