This is basically a social networking service that sends text-based posts to update the user’s status and be displayed on a particular site or blog. Another company, this time a fitness company, has decided to take advantage of the latest technology to market their services. The Snap Fitness Inc. has recently announced plans to launch a new online tool for members of its gyms. This large and still growing chain of 24-hour fitness gyms (based in Chanhassen) has formed partnerships with nutritional supplement company Bioceutica (based in Newbury, Mass.-), Health Solutions - a health care assessment firm based in Wisconsin, and HyperStrike , a California fitness firm. to create a Web site for customers to customize their workout schedule. The new tool will enable customers to design a personalized fitness plan complete with designed customized workouts and nutritional assessments. And all these with the help of wellness coaches.
